this video was a bit vague, i have no idea what the fifth point meant - the explanation that followed it was really helpful (about eliminating options) but it had nothing to do with evaluating the likelihood of scenarios

Hey Emil! I have my UCAT in around 2 weeks and I'm really struggling with QR and DM subtests. Do you have any other tips with the UCAT being this close? I feel very underprepared and I have to juggle with my year 12 assessments with this as well.

Hi Emil. You don’t understand how helpful your videos have been, as a current grade 11 student (somewhat equivalent to year 12 in Australia), I cannot thank you enough for these informative videos. If you don’t mind me asking, I’m planning to study medicine, and I’m trying to keep my options as open as possible by applying to both Australian/New Zealand Universities and Uk universities. However, for the majority of the universities in Australia and New Zealand, they require the UCAT ANZ and not the UK UCAT. How did you apply to these Australian universities from your UCAT UK exam? Hi thanks for your content 🙂 do you have a specific amount of time you would recommend to dedicate to learning things before class and revision after class, a few days after, a week later and a month later, because it can be easy to fall into the trap of doing too much revision and not moving forward to the next content. Also after you reach the point of active recall after a month on a topic, would you recommend to not revise the topic again or would you just repeat it once every month, thanks 👍

Another study technique that works for me is first getting into a mindset. When I am not studying I prefer to be more quiet about my skills. When I do study I always positively reinforce myself. It sounds a little cringe but I always tell myself that ‘I am the best and I can achieve anything’, people say that it can inflate our sense of self but when you are alone and studying, people’s opinions shouldn’t matter. Make sure to pump yourself up and show how great you are to yourself.
